I am one of ten family members (who range from siblings to 7th cousins) who participated in retracing the steps of our ancestors, who were prominent slave-traders from Rhode Island from 1769-1820, through the notorious Triangle Trade from New England to the slave dungeons in Ghana, to sugar plantations in Cuba to make the film "Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North" which will be broadcast June 24, 2008 on the acclaimed PBS series P.O.V.
