About Me:
I have a varied background, having worked as a journalist, self-employed writer/researcher, election observer, director of a womens' organization, community mobilization and development specialist, and now as a researcher in human security and peacebuilding. My particular interest is how "islands of achievement" in failed states can become the basis for peacebuilding in the larger state. I maintain Hopebuilding wiki as a place to share stories of locally-driven achievement with the goal of making international development a peer-driven sharing.
