Communicating or expressing oneself via clothing is quite effective indeed. Fashion was a social object long before the term came into being, and most definitely acts as a conduit for our own individual expression. It further serves as an ideal connector between those who agree or disagree with us. Whether we're talking politics and social change or simply color palettes the effect is profound and far-reaching on conscious and sub-conscious levels.
I love reading stories from those who've purchased t-shirts or onesies, who've connected with someone they might've otherwise passed solemnly on the street. And, as for the onesies and baby clothing, seems the impact will be more readily apparent once the children reach adolescence, become adults and so on. Just as any band would incorporate concert t-shirts in an effort to spread their music and brand name, so may any idea be propelled in much the same way. And, best of all, it's fun.
Sorry this took so long - life had me by the lapels. Hoping to enjoy the group more through the rest of the year and beyond. Very happy to find you.
