About me:
Australian, born and raised in Melbourne, now living in Adelaide, with plans to franchise world shaking early education program for 3-5 year olds. Looking for self-funded full-time working colleague, as per pasted in flyer. I realise this is a bit of an odd-ball opening, but the right person will realise its potential. :

Wanted : Social entrepreneur / life activity partner

I am looking for a passionate social entrepreneur with business skills up his sleeve, a head on his shoulders, time on his hands, a bit of money in his pocket, energy to spare, freedom to travel, and an interest in education.

Must be available for 16-24/7 level commitment to project implementation, and able to work comfortably as team player and supportive colleague.

Rewards could be (considerably) more than commensurate with effort required, but won't come onstream for about six months, and should not be the motivation to get involved.

I am a lifelong academic with a decade as a small businesswoman. I have developed a program relevant to every young family (ie with under-five year olds) in Australia and the US.

The program standardly produces high achievers, on the basis of fortnightly parent-child attended classes.

The goal is to change the world for the better, by sidestepping remediation programs, and connecting directly with parents, as the ‘stakeholders’ with the strongest interest and best location to ensure every kid gets a great start.

The program is not expensive for parents, but generates a fair bit of cash because of the way the numbers stack up.

Please recheck the specs given above. They are fairly precise because precise is relevant. Marketing savvy is probably the most important skill needed, and this includes event management, fund-raising dinners, setting up city and local lectures, etc. etc. Media familiarity, computer literacy, accounting and legal knowledge, real estate skills - almost anything you can identify as useful to business development will be called upon. Other professionals can be brought into action to help, but this is a foundational "project management" role needing an understanding of the big picture, a capacity for lateral thinking, and an ability to tackle whatever might need to be done in a timely fashion.

The time is right. I know what needs to be done, but can't do it all on my own. If you are the right person to take up this role, then let's make it happen.

Drop me a line at Employment Enquiries, PO Box 486, Blackwood, SA 5051, or call 08 8270 3548

PS – This could be set up as an investment opportunity, if you are the best for the position and have the means to buy into the project as a partial or full partner.

Hi Glynne, Thank you for joining Social Actions. This could be just the community to help you find partners and spread the message of your parent-centered early ed program.

If I were you, I'd start by contacting Margaret Egan. I happen to know that she has a strong interest in early education and is is a technology / consultant super-star. You can find her here:
